Translation provided for information: in case of discrepancy, only the French version is authoritative.
In short
- No account and no sign-up: Pataflop never asks for your name, email address or any other information.
- Your progress stays on your phone. The publisher has no server and receives no game data.
- The game shows Google AdMob ads, requested with the settings meant for children: never personalized.
- The full-game purchase goes through Google Play or the App Store: the publisher never sees your payment details.
Data kept on your phone
The game stores on your phone your records, stars, coins and number of attempts, your settings (sound muted, sound offset) and whether the full game was purchased. A copy is kept in the app's own storage so nothing is lost if the system frees up space.
On Android, this data may be included in your Google account's automatic backup if you turned it on; Google manages that backup.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
To stay free, the game shows ads provided by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC): videos you choose to watch in exchange for a bonus and, in the free version, an occasional ad when you return to the menu, never during a game.
Ads are requested as intended for an audience that may include children and people under the age of consent: Google then shows no personalized ads and limits the data used. The game does not access your device's advertising ID and never asks for tracking permission on iPhone.
To show ads, measure their delivery and fight fraud, Google's SDK may collect technical information: IP address (which gives an approximate location), device model and system, interactions with ads, diagnostic data. Google processes it under its own rules: policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Consent
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a Google form may appear at first launch to record your choice. You can change it at any time: Settings › My ad choices.
Full-game purchase
The one-time full-game purchase is processed by Google Play or the App Store under their own privacy rules. On your phone, the publisher only receives confirmation that the purchase took place, to unlock the worlds and remove forced ads. It has no access to your bank details or your identity.
Permissions
The game only asks for technical network permissions (Internet access, connection state), used by ads and the purchase. It does not access your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
What the publisher does not collect
Pataflop sends no data to the publisher: no usage statistics, no error logs, no identifier. The game works offline, apart from ads and the purchase.
Children
Pataflop is suitable for all ages. The publisher does not knowingly collect any personal data, from children or adults. Ads are requested with Google's settings for children (see above).
Retention and deletion
Game data stays on your phone as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it permanently (a purchase can then be recovered with “Restore my purchases”).
Your rights (GDPR)
As the publisher holds no data about you, there is nothing for it to access, correct or delete: everything the game stores stays on your device. For data processed by Google for ads or purchases, you can exercise your rights with Google or Apple. You can also write to the publisher, or contact your country's data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Changes
If this policy changes, for example with a new game feature, the new version is published in the app and on the website, with its update date.
